Abstract

The historical milestone of the induction of the Muangana in the Mbala of Kuvango in 2021 is a subject we set out to investigate. For many years, the mbala of Kuvango was orphaned of a king, and in the year 2021, it was thought to re-establish the kingdom, with the swearing in of a new Muangana, whose history was recorded. A mbala is an institution of capital importance for the communities, it plays an important role in the resolution of traditional conflicts, in the education of young people, it also serves as an institution where the elders of the community solve social problems with the king of the Mbala. This study raised the following scientific problem: How to analyze the historical milestone of the swearing in of the muangana in the Cuvango mbala (2021)? The general objective of the study is to analyze the historical milestone of the installation of the muangana (king) in the Cuvango mbala (2021) and the reasons for selecting the topic for this work are related to the fact that it has not been addressed in the academic literature, given the scarcity of content related to the theme in question. The research design has a descriptive-qualitative character and to reach the objectives, we determined the following methods: historical method, documental, esthetical and life story research, associated to the methods, we used as techniques the inquiry by interview and the inquiry by questionnaire. In addition to the introduction, conclusions and suggestions, the work is divided into three chapters: in the first chapter, we highlight the theoretical foundation, in the second chapter, we highlight the swearing in of the new muangana in Kuvango and in the third chapter the treatment of stastic data.
