| Abstract: | Neste trabalho de pesquisa, a abordagem esteve em volta do seguinte tema: Acções do mwene (rei) Tyihwaku, na luta de resistência anti-colonial (1886/1889). Um estudo realizado no Município de Cuvango. Tyihwaku foi da linhagem de Sobas do município do Cuvango, província da Huíla; sucedeu sua mãe do bairro Utombe e que posteriormente instalou-se noutra região onde é actualmente sede municipal do Cuvango, encontra-se uma figueira extensa plantada por ele e um monumento histórico em homenagem do Sacerdote Ernesto Lecomte. A conquista e ocupação efectiva do território do Cuvango não foi fácil, porque contaram sempre com resistência por parte dos naturais, que procuraram a todo o custo impedir a presença colonial na sua região. E como consequência, várias batalhas foram travadas contra os invasores europeus. A região perdeu muitos dos seus melhores filhos impiedosamente mortos e deportados pelos ocupantes estrangeiros. O trabalho está constituído por dois capítulos: o primeiro retracta sobre a caracterização, divisão político-administrativa, rede hidrográfica, extensão territorial e a origem da população do Município do Cuvango e o segundo capítulo faz menção a repressão colonial na região do Cuvango, as causas e consequências das guerras travadas pelos autóctones diante dos colonizadores europeus. Diante da temática traçamos como objectivo geral: compreender as razões que estavam na base da luta de resistência anticolonial no Município de Cuvango; para tal, tivemos quatro objectivos específicos: 1º-Descrever as causas do conflito contra o colonialismo português no Município de Cuvango; 2º-Explicar o impacto da guerra nas vertentes socioeconómico e político na população do Cuvango e finalmente o 3º-Analisar o resultado final do conflito entre o exército colonial e as forças locais. Os métodos utilizados foram: histórico, comparativo, Indutivo, dedutivo e pesquisa bibliográfica. Neste trabalho também ainda utilizamos algumas técnicas que nos auxiliaram bastante na recolha de dados para a pesquisa científica como as seguintes: o inquérito por entrevista e a Pesquisa bibliográfica. Em seguida, atingimos a fase da conclusão do trabalho, avançamos mais para sugestões e finalmente terminamos com o ponto de anexos. |
| Abstract: | In this research work, the approach was around the following theme: Actions of the mwene (king) Tyihwaku, in the anti-colonial resistance struggle (1886/1889). A case study in the Municipality of Cuvango. Tyihwaku was of the lineage of Sobas from Cuvango municipality, Huíla province; succeeded his mother in the Utombe neighborhood and who later moved to another region where the current municipal seat of Cuvango is located, there is an extensive fig tree planted by him and a historic monument in honor of Priest Ernesto Lecomte. The conquest and effective occupation of the territory of Cuvango was not easy, because they always had resistance from the natives, who tried at all costs to prevent the colonial presence in their region. And as a consequence, several battles were fought against the European invaders. The region lost many of its best sons mercilessly killed and deported by foreign occupiers. The work consists of two chapters: the first deals with the characterization, political-administrative division, hydrographic network, territorial extension and the origin of the population of the Municipality of Cuvango and the second chapter mentions the colonial repression in the Cuvango region, the causes and consequences of the wars fought by the natives against the European colonizers. In view of the theme, we set out as a general objective: to understand the reasons that were at the base of the anti-colonial resistance struggle in the Municipality of Cuvango; to this end, we had four specific objectives: 1st-To describe the causes of the conflict against Portuguese colonialism in the Municipality of Cuvango; 2nd-Explain the impact of the war on the socio-economic and political aspects on the population of Cuvango and finally the 3th-Analyze the final result of the conflict between the colonial army and the local forces. The methods used were: historical, comparative, inductive, deductive and bibliographic research. In this work we also still use some techniques that helped us a lot in collecting data for scientific research, such as the following: the interview survey and the bibliographic research. Then we hit the work completion phase, move further into suggestions, and finally finish with the attachment point |
