| Abstract: | A actual situação na Nigéria motiva uma profunda reflexão sobre o Estado e as funções que normalmente este desempenha na sociedade. O aumento da problemática do fundamentalismo islâmico no país surge num ambiente de problemas estruturais complexos que colocam em causa a autoridade, capacidade e legitimidade do Estado. O presente trabalho procurou analisar o trabalho das Organizações regionais em África na prevenção, gestão e resolução de conflitos o caso concreto da Nigéria. Para o presente estudo, traçamos como problema científico o seguinte: Qual tem sido as estratégias das Organizações regionais em África na prevenção e gestão de conflitos na Nigéria? Como Objectivo Geral: Compreender o papel das Organizações regionais em África na prevenção, gestão e resolução de conflitos. Como Objectivos específicos, traçamos: Analisar as causas dos conflitos na Nigéria; Perceber as motivações políticas, sociais e económicas do Grupo Boko Haram e Analisar o papel da Organização regional da África Ocidental na prevenção, gestão e resolução de conflitos na Nigéria. O nosso trabalho está dividido em dois capítulos, no primeiro fez-se uma discussão teórica em torno das Organizações regionais em África, sempre nos apoiando em vários teóricos que sustentaram a referida problemática; fizemos a caracterização dos conflitos em África, e abordamos sobre algumas organizações regionais em África assim como: a CEDEAO, IGAD e a SADEC. No segundo situamos a Nigéria do ponto de vista geográfico, fez-se uma breve caracterização da geopoplítica nigeriana, os conflitos neste país, a Nigéria e a maldição dos recursos naturais, os constantes ataques perpetrados pelo grupo extremista Boko Haram; e para terminar abordamos também sobre as contestações na região do Delta do Níger. No final, apresentamos as conclusões e consequentemente as sugestões sobre o nosso trabalho. |
| Abstract: | The current situation in Nigeria motivates a reflection on the state and function it plays in society. The rise of islamic fundamentalism in the country arises in a complex context of structural problem that puts in in question the authority and lagimatimacy of the state. The present research search analisy about the role of organization region in Africa in prevention, management and resolution of conflit concretly in Nigeria. For the present search, we delineate thate cientific problem: what is the strategy of the organization region in Africa in prevention, management na resolution of conflit in Nigeria? Us general objectiv is, Understand the role of organization region in Africa in prevention, management and resolution of conflit in Nigeria. Our objectiv especific was Analyze the causes of conflicts in Nigeria; Understand the political, social and economic motivations of the Boko Haram Group and Analyze the role of the West African Regional Organization in conflict prevention, management and resolution in Nigeria. Our search is divide in twice chapter: In first chapter, we did some analisy around the organization region in Africa, always to supporting in the author wich support the current tematic, we did the make up conflit in Africa, and we speak about some organization region such as: CEDEAO, IGAD and SADEC. In second chapter, we situated the Nigeria of point of view geographic, we did also the concise make up from geopolitic Nigeria, the conflit in that country, Nigeria and the curse resource, constant attack perpetrated for the violent boko haram group; we speak also the claming in Delta region Niger. |
