Formas de Preservação da Cultura Cokwe: O Caso da Dança no Município do Moxico

Abstract

The topic The Ways of Preservation of the Cokwe Culture: The Case of Dance in the Municipality of Moxico is an interesting topic if we look at the fruits it can bring if it is constantly addressed. Through questions such as: What are the Ways of Preservation of Cokwe Culture, The case of dance? the following work was elaborated whose primary was “Studying Dance as a way of preserving the Cokwe culture in the municipality of Moxico”. The investigation included an ethnographic collection, based on the participant and non-participant observation method, as well as some techniques inherent to the respective methods. Dance emerges as one of the first forms of art, accompanying the culture and development of peoples. This study sought to value the contribution of dance to the development of children and young people, intending to verify its contribution to the development of culture, namely in terms of its execution and dissemination.
