dc.description.abstract | The philosophical analysis of art contributes to a better appreciation of global culture. Based on this assumption, we feel motivated to draw up the end-ofcourse work with the theme: The philosophical analysis of African art as a social function: a study carried out with students from High School nº 257 (IDA), a school attached to Arimba (Lubango). Based on the theme, we have as a scientific question the following: What is the problem surrounding the philosophical analysis of African art as a social function? As an object of study we have: The philosophical analysis of African art as a social function, with the students of High School nº 257 (IDA). And to carry out our research we have as a general objective: to understand the philosophical analysis of African art as a social function. The following scientific questions emerged from the general objective: (1) What are the theoretical foundations that support the philosophical analysis of African art as a social function; (2) What is the level of knowledge of the 12th grade students of High School nº 257 (IDA), regarding the philosophical analysis of African art as a social function; (3) What strategies to use to improve the level of knowledge of the referenced students regarding the philosophical analysis of African art as a social function. From the questions, the following tasks arise: (1) Determine the theoretical foundations that support the highlighted theme; (2) Diagnose students' current state of knowledge regarding the topic; (3) Collect data through the survey and then suggest actions aimed at improving the level of knowledge of 12th grade students on the philosophical analysis of African art as a social function. Our research is philosophical in nature and fits into the fields of African Culture and Philosophy and Aesthetics. The population consisted of thirty-five (35) students from the 12th grade of the C.E.J. where twenty-five (25) students were withdrawn and served as a sample. And in this same research, methods of theoretical, empirical and statistical level were used. Generally speaking, the work starts with an introduction, three chapters with specific approaches, conclusion and suggestions. | pt |

dc.description.resumo | A análise filosófica da arte contribui para uma melhor valorização da cultura global. Com base a este pressuposto, sentimo-nos motivado a lavrar o trabalho de fim do curso com o tema: A análise filosófica da arte africana como função social: um estudo realizado junto dos alunos do Liceu nº 257 (IDA), escola anexa à Arimba (Lubango). Com base ao tema, temos como pergunta científica a seguinte: Qual é o problema que está em volta da análise filosófica da arte africana como função social? Como objecto de estudo temos: A análise filosófica da arte africana como função social, junto dos alunos do Liceu nº 257 (IDA). E para a realização da nossa pesquisa temos como objectivo geral: compreender a análise filosófica da arte africana como função social. Do objectivo geral surgiram as seguintes perguntas científicas: (1) Quais são os fundamentos teóricos que sustentam a análise filosófica da arte africana como função social; (2) Qual é o nível de conhecimento dos alunos da 12ª classe do Liceu nº 257 (IDA), relactivamente a análise filosófica da arte africana como função social; (3) Que estratégias a utilizar para melhorar o nível de conhecimento dos alunos referenciados no que concerne a análise filosófica da arte africana como função social. Das perguntas surgem as seguintes tarefas: (1) Determinar os fundamentos teóricos que sustentam o tema em destaque; (2) Diagnosticar o estado actual de conhecimento dos alunos relactivamente ao tema; (3) Recolher dados por via do inquérito e, posteriormente sugerir acções que visa o melhoramento do nível de conhecimento dos alunos da 12ª classe sobre a análise filosófica da arte africana como função social. A nossa investigação é de carácter filosófico e enquadra-se nos campos de Cultura e Filosofia Africana e Estética. A população foi constituída por trinta e cinco (35) alunos da 12ª classe do curso de C.E.J. onde retirou-se vinte e cinco (25) alunos que nos serviu de amostra. E nesta mesma pesquisa, usou-se métodos de nível teórico, empírico e estatístico. De modo geral, o trabalho começa por uma introdução, três capítulos com abordagens específicas, conclusão e sugestões. | pt |
