Percepção Dos Professores Sobre O Uso Das Tics, No Processo De Ensino E Aprendizagem Da Geografia Em Tempos De Pandemia: Um Estudo De Caso Realizado Nas Escolas Do Liceu Nº 792 E Liceu Nº 26 De Abril

Abstract

The present investigation is entitled "Teachers' Perception of the Use of ICTs, in the Geography Teaching and Learning Process in times of a pandemic: a case study carried out in the Schools of Liceu nº 792 and Liceu 26 de Abril", with the objective of understand the importance of the use of ICTs in the PEA of geography in the face of the covid-19 pandemic. This is essentially a qualitative descriptive research, with a questionnaire survey being applied, based on the literature, and applied to teachers, in a total of 20 individuals from the institutions under study, in order to collect information inherent to the subject in question. . The research allowed us to understand that the use of information and communication technologies in the teaching of Geography in the face of covid-19, presents limitations of structural, pedagogical and formative nature and that its use in teaching practice by the researched teachers is limited. Teachers argue that the lack of own equipment and internet in the institutions, the lack of personal equipment, the lack of mastery of social networks as well as the lack of specific training, constitute the main obstacles when using ICTs in teaching practice. Most teachers recognize the importance of using ICTs, stating that, in times of a pandemic, the use of ICTs in the PEA of geography is very important, since one of the measures and biosecurity is social distancing, therefore, the use of ICTs , facilitates teacher-student interaction in the transmission of geographic knowledge, without the need for both to be brought together, that is, content and research in geography can be guided through the use of ICTs.
