Abstract

The integration of the Ovimbundu ethnolinguistic group among the Ovanyaneka of the Lufinda community is the subject that we set out to address in this monograph. development of the locality, with several valences introduced by the immigrants, the investigation identified the following question as a problem of the study: What is the impact of the integration of the ethnolinguistic group Ovimbundu among the Ovanyaneka of Lufinda? It has a general objective that is limited to the description of the integration of the Ovimbundu ethnolinguistic group; among the Ovanyaneka of Lufinda, and the following specific objectives: To analyze the migrations of the Ovimbundu ethnolinguistic group, identify the role played by the Ovimbundu ethnolinguistic group among the Ovanyaneka of Lufinda; highlight the contribution of philanthropic associations to the integration of the Ovimbundu ethnolinguistic group; characterize the activities carried out by the Ovimbundu ethnolinguistic group for the development of the community. The design of the research that we proposed to carry out is of a descriptive-qualitative nature and, in order to reach the objectives, we used certain methods to be mentioned: deductive, inductive, historical and comparative methods and as techniques we used bibliographical research, documental research and the interview survey.
