| Abstract: | O presente trabalho aborda a problemática do “Evamba entre os Ovimbundu na Província da Huíla: um estudo exploratório feito no município de Caconda nas Aldeias de Katapi e Sahando”. Tem como objectivo geral: Descrever o Evamba entre os Ovimbundu de Caconda nas aldeias de Katapi e Sahando. O estudo teve como ponto de partida do seguinte problema científico: Quais são as características do Evamba no município de Caconda nas aldeias de Katapi e Sahando? Assim, para dar resposta ao problema, recorreu-se como metodologia aos estudos do tipo descritivos, bibliográfico, documental, histórico, análise síntese, método comparativo bem como os métodos empíricos dos quais, recorreu-se ao inquérito por entrevista e inquérito por questionário a 1 turma da 12ªclasse aplicado como amostra. Conclusões e sugestões: tanto os alunos quanto os professores reafirmaram e foram unânimes em destacar a necessidade de ministrar seminário/palestras e a inserção do tema no programa curricular de História da 12ª classe do curso de ciências económico-jurídicas para aumentar o nível de conhecimento dos alunos sobre o tema; todavia, as fontes de obtenção de conhecimento sobre o tema, tem sido transmitido na base de conversas com adultos, anciãos/bibliotecas vivas. Que as instituições do I Ciclo do ensino Secundário geral, do ensino Médio em geral, os alunos do curso de ciências económico-jurídicas e não só, em colaboração com as universidades, com o Ministério da cultura, os investigadores sociais em colaboração com ISCED-Huíla, encontrem mecanismos que promovam e vinculem debates, palestras, sessões radiofónicas e de televisão em torno do mesmo com estas instituições; com vista a incentivar a investigação de assuntos relacionados com ao tema, de modos a se valorizar e preservar mais a cultura e proporcionar o conhecimento dos alunos, da sociedade no geral e das novas gerações em particular; Que durante as aulas, os professores não devem apenas limitar-se sobre os aspectos teóricos, baseando-se apenas em livros, palestras, seminários e debates, mas também em observação das instituições tradicionais, realizando visitas guiadas às comunidades, como em aldeias, embalas, região/sítios históricos, assistir e participar em actividades de rituais de Evamba |
| Abstract: | The present work deals with the issue of “Evamba among the Ovimbundu in the Province of Huíla: an exploratory study carried out in the municipality of Caconda in the villages of Katapi and Sahando”. Its general objective is: To describe the Evamba among the Ovimbundu of Caconda in the villages of Katapi and Sahando. The study had as its starting point the following scientific problem: What are the characteristics of Evamba in the municipality of Caconda in the villages of Katapi and Sahando? Thus, in order to respond to the problem, descriptive, bibliographical, documentary, historical studies, synthesis analysis, comparative methods, as well as empirical methods were used as methodology, of which, the survey by interview and survey by questionnaire were used. the 1 class of the 12th grade applied as a sample. Conclusions and suggestions: both students and professors reaffirmed and were unanimous in highlighting the need to give seminars/lectures and the inclusion of the theme in the 12th grade History curriculum of the economic-legal sciences course to increase the level of knowledge of students. students on the subject; however, the sources of obtaining knowledge on the subject have been transmitted based on conversations with adults, elders/living libraries. That the institutions of the 1st cycle of general secondary education, secondary education in general, students of the economic-legal sciences course and beyond, in collaboration with universities, with the Ministry of culture, social researchers in collaboration with ISCED- Huíla, find mechanisms that promote and link debates, lectures, radio and television sessions around the same with these institutions; with a view to encouraging the investigation of subjects related to the theme, in order to value and preserve more the culture and provide knowledge of students, society in general and the new generations in particular; That during classes, teachers should not only limit themselves to theoretical aspects, relying only on books, lectures, seminars and debates, but also on observation of traditional institutions, carrying out guided visits to communities, such as villages, packs , region/historical sites, attend and participate in Evamba ritual activities |
