Os Actores Militares E Os Acordos De Paz Em Angola (1975- 2002).

Abstract

The present research work with the theme THE MILITARY ACTORS AND THE AGREEMENTS IN ANGOLA (1975-2002), aims on the one hand to enrich the program of the History of Angola subject of the 3rd year of the History Course at ISCED-Huíla, on the other hand , raise the level of knowledge of students and scholars of the History of Angola, as well as contribute with data for the preparation of a reference text for teachers and students on contemporary events in the History of Angola. The theme was identified and worked on with the aim of contributing to the enrichment of the content related to contemporary historical events in the History of Angola. The Historical, Descriptive, Analysis and Synthesis methods of Bibliographic information, as well as the instruments, inquiry, were crucial to solve the identified problem. Data were obtained from bibliographical research and thirty-one surveys applied to the military in the 5th ISCED -Huíla region. Structurally, the present work is divided into three chapters: in the first chapter, we address the geographic and historical framework of Angola, historical framework, hypothesis of the origin of the name Angola, inhabitants, main economic activities; in the second chapter, we approach the military actors and the peace agreements in Angola (1975-2002); the third chapter comprises the analysis and discussion of the results obtained through the survey applied to students. Finally, we present the conclusions and suggestions drawn from the survey results.
