Abstract

This work have as a topic "History of the leaving School in the Quipungo municipality (1975 to 2015) " this is a case study. The sabjec of study is the leaving (school) in the Quipungo municipality. Phenomenon of the leaving school in the Quipungo municipality. The main idea is to highlight the motivations and the consequences. For this work were interviewed administrative authorities, school directores, traditional authorities, education tutores and former students who droppd school. We opted for qualitative research. In the out of three chapters were treated theoretical subjects about leaving school their causes and consequences as well as the school failure. It is concluded that what is at the base of the school leaving is the lack of monotoring by the parents´ and guardians of the children to the school, of early pregnancy, the execution of the obligatory military service, the rituals (efiko and ekwendje) and above all the economic condition of families. This situation is what more has been motivating the school leaving in the Quipungo municipality. It was found that the number of children and young children tends to rise due to the fact that the country be imnessed in a deep crisis and the families are in a lot of difficulties.
