| Abstract: | O presente trabalho tem como objectivo central discutir as potencialidades e limites do uso do ambiente escolar como forma de difundir princípios e práticas sustentáveis, buscou-se uma reflexão com alunos da 8 ª Classe do I Ciclo do Ensino Secundário do Complexo Escolar 8 de Março na Tchavola, sobre o tema em questão. Portanto, a pesquisa visa promover a formação de indivíduos conscientes, capazes de tomar decisões e agir dentro das realidades sociais do meio ambiente de forma comprometida com a vida global do planeta. Os alunos expressaram sua insatisfação com o ambiente de vida na Terra, mas estavam bastante relaxados em questões práticas. Também notou a falta de informação ainda sobre temas como sustentabilidade, ainda não fazem totalmente parte do léxico dos alunos inqueridos, deste modo, a educação não poderia deixar de participar das questões envolvendo o desenvolvimento sustentável, formar profissionais que valorizem as pessoas, o planeta e o trabalho de uma forma que respeite os limites da terra. A educação ambiental é a forma de todos mudarem hábitos e adotarem novas atitudes para reduzir a degradação ambiental, promover a conservação e melhorar a qualidade de vida em harmonia com os recursos naturais. Portanto, a educação ambiental é a chave para o desenvolvimento sustentável, preparando-o para gerações. Um país com educação ambiental terá mais oportunidades de ter sucesso em seu desenvolvimento. Se o significado do ambiente não for atribuído corretamente, o desenvolvimento falhará |
| Abstract: | The main objective of this work is to discuss the potentialities and limits of the use of the school environment as a way of disseminating sustainable principles and practices. Tchavola, on the subject in question. Therefore, the research aims to promote the formation of conscious individuals, capable of making decisions and acting within the social realities of the environment in a way that is committed to the global life of the planet. The students expressed their dissatisfaction with the living environment on Earth, but were quite relaxed in practical matters. He also noticed the lack of information on topics such as sustainability, which are still not fully part of the vocabulary of the students surveyed, thus, education could not fail to participate in issues involving sustainable development, training professionals who value people, the planet and work in a way that respects the boundaries of the land. Environmental education is the way for everyone to change habits and adopt new attitudes to reduce environmental degradation, promote conservation and improve the quality of life in harmony with natural resources. Therefore, environmental education is the key to sustainable development, preparing it for generations. A country with environmental education will have more opportunities to succeed in its development. If the environment meaning is not assigned correctly, the development will fail |
