Propostas Metodológicas para o Ensino do Texto Lírico nas Escolas do I Ciclo do Ensino Secundário do Nambambi

Abstract

This paper is entitled "METHODOLOGICAL PROPOSALS FOR TEACHING THE LYRIC TEXT IN NAMBAMBI'S SECONDARY SCHOOLS" and seeks to study the teaching of the lyric text in the classroom, since it contributes, like other texts, if well studied, to the mastery of language in all its aspects. The research problem is summed up in the following question: What methodologies should be used in the teaching of lyric text in secondary schools in Nambambi? The object of the study is based on the teaching-learning process, specifically the methodology that should be used in the teaching of the lyrical text in the schools in question, located in the municipality of Lubango. Taking into account the problem identified and the object of study, the field of action of this work is in the field of Portuguese Language Teaching because it seeks to improve the teaching process of the same subject as far as the lyrical text is concerned. The general aim of the research is to help improve the teaching of lyrical texts in secondary schools in Nambambi. The following techniques were used in the preparation of the work: Questionnaire Survey, Bibliographical Research and Data Processing. The study is descriptive. We worked with a population of 30 teachers; a sample of 18 teachers was drawn from this population, totaling 60% of the population and the type of sample was Accidental. It is argued that the lyric text has been little studied with the appropriate methodology for students to master it and, consequently, to master the language through it. The main results are summarized in the fact that teachers have little command of the methodology for teaching the lyric text, which ends up contributing to the students' lack of mastery of it. After basing ourselves on the literary analysis proposed by Moisés (2007), we came to the conclusion that literary analysis of the lyrical text in the 1st Cycle should go through the following stages: reading; recognizing the denotative and connotative index; identifying and interpreting the text's constants or recurrences; general content analysis; checking the extrinsic elements and finally concluding the poem.
