| Abstract: | Este trabalho insere-se na temática sobre o contributo da escola na prevenção e consumo de drogas (álcool) no complexo escolar 706 do Iº ciclo do Lubango. O mesmo obejctivou caracterizar o conhecimento dos professores e alunos do Iº Ciclo do ensino secundário, sobre o efeito nocivo das drogas lícitas e no comportamento dos individuos (alunos) bem como descrever a importância da escola na prevenção e consumo de drogas lícitas (álcool), no complexo escolar acima citada. A Investigação é do tipo de estudo descritivo com uma abordagem quali-quantitativa ou misto. A População alvo foi composta por 6 professores e 493 alunos da 9ª Classe. Desta população foram selecionados 100 alunos e 3 professores de Biologia da 9ª classe. Para a recolha da informação junto dos participantes, utilizou-se como instrumento a entrevista semiestruturada aos professores e a direção da escola, e o inquérito por questionário aos professores e alunos. Após a análise, interpretação e discussão dos resultados notou-se o conhecimentos dos alunos sobre os efeitos das drogas lícitas no organismo ainda carecem de melhorias. As professoras participantes desta pesquisa mostraram domínio dos efeitos das drogas lícitas no organismo humano, mas em contrapartida constatou-se que a pouca abordagem do tema é pelo facto de não constar no programa curricular da 9ª classe da reforma educativa. |
| Abstract: | This work is part of the theme of the school's contribution to the prevention of drug (alcohol) consumption in the 706-school complex of the 1st cycle of Lubango. It aimed to characterize the level of knowledge of teachers and students in the 1st cycle of secondary education, about the harmful effect of legal drugs on the body and behavior of individuals (students) as well as to describe the importance of the school in preventing the consumption of legal drugs (alcohol), in the aforementioned school complex. The investigation is a descriptive study with a quali-quantitative or mixed approach. The target population consisted of 6 teachers and 493 9th grade students. From this population, 100 students and 3 9th grade biology teachers were selected. To collect information from the participants, the instrument used was a semi-structured interview with teachers and the school management, and a questionnaire survey of teachers and students. After analyzing, interpreting and discussing the results, it was noted that students' knowledge about the effects of legal drugs (alcohol) on the body still needs improvement. The teachers participating in this research showed mastery over the effects of legal drugs (alcohol) on the human body, but on the other hand, it was found that the poor approach to the topic is due to the fact that it is not included in the curriculum for the 9th grade of the educational reform. |
